Altered Tilda Journals

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a great day! I just have a quick post for today. I created two new altered journals using Maggies and wanted to share them with you.

For both journals, I used Tildas, MM Paint, Basic Grey DP and lots of ribbon!

Tilda Notebook - Post #3!!!

Howdy, y'all! I am back again! I am so excited about how this project turned out, I just had to post it tonight!

I made this journal for my Etsy Store. I saw these cute little notebooks at Target and decided to alter it!

I used some Basic Grey Kioshi DP along with some PTI cardstock. The sentiment is from a SU alphabet set. I sanded and painted the covers, layered the DP on top and then embellished it. I finished it off with several coats of Modge Podge to seal everything on tight! I finished it off by adding tons of ribbon to the spine. Here is a sideview - it measures about 3.5 x 5 inches. It is the perfect size to slip in your purse or keep in your car for those quick notes we all need to jot down!

Here is a peek inside. I sanded, painted and covered the inside panels too. The inside covers are the same and the back of the journal matches the front DP.
