Seeing Dots!

Happy Wednesday, y'all! Hope it is warm and sunny where you are these days! I got fried this weekend at the beach with family friends. My legs are still very red and painful! I don't think I have been burned like that since I was a kid. Ouch!

7 Kids has a brand new challenge this week:

SEEING SPOTS!!

Pull out your polka dots and play with us, won't you?

(Be sure and use a stamp 7 Kids carries)

Well at least, Beach Tilda was smart and applied her sunscreen before she got to the beach to ensure she didn't get burned....

She is digging her toes into the sand on the Romantic Sunset Background. The cute sentiment comes from the Lily at the Beach Stamp set from Pink Cat Studio. I airbrushed on top of the sentiment after it was punched out using a Tag Trio Nestability. The flowers are all Prima. 2 New Tilda cards!!

Happy Thursday night, y'all!! Hope everyone is doing well. I had a busy, but productive day working on some Spring Cleaning - fun stuff!! :) I do have a great sense of accomplishment, though.

I was asked to make a few cards for a customer, so I thought I would stop over here and share them with you!

My first card is a Thinking of You card. I used Tilda with Three Flowers and Shabby Chic Fence (both Magnolia Stamps). To create the background, I stamped the fence and masked it off. I, then, masked off the ground and airbrushed the sky using a cloud template and B24 Copic Marker. I then turned the mask around to mask off the sky and airbrushed the ground. It really does not take long to master this!! Tilda was colored, cut out and layered on top of the background.
Here is the front of the Easel card.

This is the inside of the card.

I used these Copics: E11, 00, 000, R30, B24, YG23, YG97, V01, V12, V15, YG95, YG93, E37, 35, 33, 30, E57, 55, 53, 50, YR18, YR00

Supplies:
Stamps - Tilda with Three Flowers, Shabby Chic Fence (both Magnolia), sentiment (Inkadinkadoo)
Paper - Bazzill (purple), PTI, Kioshi DP (Basic Grey), Gina K 120# White
Ink - Memento, Copics
Accessories - Stickles, Copic ABS, Nestabilities, Fern Punch, leaf punch (Martha Stewart), Flowers (WOC)

My 2nd card is a birthday card using my new favorite Birthday Tilda!!

I used some Olivia DP from Basic Grey and SU cardstock for this card. I am on an Easel card kick again, so bear with me! The flowers are WOC and were inked with some SU ink and a sponge dauber as was the image and white panel inside of the card. I added lots of Stickles to her cake and candles. The leaf punch is from Nellie Snellen and can be found here along with the fern punch. The flourish is from Sizzix. The floral edge punch is from Martha Stewart.
I used these Copics: E11, 00, 000, R30, B24, YG97, 95, 93, 00, E37, 35, 33, 30, E57, 55, 53, 50, R27, 24, 22, 21, 20, Y15, Y38

Supplies:
Stamps - Birthday Tilda, sentiment (PTI)
Paper - Olivia DP (Basic Grey)
Ink - Memento, Copics

Happy Spring - 7 Kids Challenge #17

Happy Wednesday, y'all!! Today is another gorgeous day in FL, except for the smell of burning pine trees....They do periodic controlled burns here to clear land and the smell is awful and makes my allergies go crazy!! Oh well, I will take 78 and sunny today!! So glad we are getting some nice weather.

Today is another awesome 7 Kids Challenge!!

This challenge is:

Use Pink & Flowers on your card!
(and of course a stamp that 7 Kids carries)
I decided to use Jam Tilda and Spring Fence - I was dying to a spring scene. I cut the image out using my Nestabilities, masked it off and airbrushed the grass and sky - easy-peasy!! The sentiment is from CC Designs and was airbrushed as well. The Tilda was cut, colored and adhered on top of the fence, so no masking for her - just the fence. I used a distressing tool to distress around all of the edges of the papers and lightly inked the imaged with some Pretty in Pink SU ink. The papers are all SU (retired) along with Pretty in Pink and So Saffron cardstock. I used Gina K. 120# paper for the images. The flowers are WOC and the fern punch can be found here. The leaf punch is from Martha Stewart.

Here are the Copics used: E11, 00, 000, R30, R85, 83, 81, E57, 55, 53, 50, E39, 37, 29, 35, 33, 31, 30, YG23, 97, 95, 93, B00, 24, Y15, 11

In Other News:

7 Kids has lots of new items for Pre-order and new stuff in Stock:
Supplies:
Stamps - Jam Tilda, Spring Fence, sentiment (CC Designs)
Paper - All papers SU, White Paper (Gina K 120#)
Ink - Memento, Copics

A Day at the Zoo!!

Happy Thursday, y'all!! I cannot believe I am posting 2 days in a row!! LOL! I have another mini album to share with you today. I think it turned out awesome! Without further adiu, here is the album:
The animals are from the QK Zoo set. I have had them forever and they can make so many cute 4-legged animals! :) I tore lots of the paper and inked it with black ink throughout the album.

Here are the inside pull-out pages.

I am off to create a beach theme 9x13 cake for the cub scout auction tonight! If it turns out cute, I will snap a picture.

Just The Way You Are!!

Happy Wednesday, y'all! Sorry I have been MIA lately....life has just gotten in the way of my crafting time. I did get to sneek away this weekend with a good friend of mine to drive down to S. FL and take Suzanne Dean's Beginner and Advanced Copic classes! Wow! I learned a ton in the 2 classes and it was neat to finally meet her since I have served on 2 DT's (we are still both on the 7 Kids team) together.

Anywho....I do have something quick to show you today. I was asked to make a custom album for someone on Etsy. I wanted to share the pictures of it with you today. I really enjoyed making it. I have had this paper for a long time and never used it. I tend to stick to more muted colors, but I love the way it turned out!!
the cover has a lot of chipboard letters that I painted and distressed. The inside pages are filled with paper flowers, bling, button, and more chipboard shapes. Oh yeah, who could forget the ribbon?? I am not going to apologive for loving RIBBON!! Even on boys albums...just deal with it peeps!

Hope you liked this one! I am working on a Zoo album now....Not sure if I am going to sell it yet. It is super cute! Well, I am off to work on some Easter cards!
Hugs,

Tilda with her King Cake!!

Happy Wednesday, y'all!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. The weather here has been lovely and much needed. Things are starting to green up and the kids are excited to play outside in the sunshine. (Yay for me!)

7 Kids has a brand new Challenge this week:

Mardi Gras colors:

Purple

Green

Gold

I decided to make Tilda sitting with her King Cake. (For those of you who are not familiar with a King Cake, see this info. They are a hugely symbolic part of Mardi Gras.)

This is Dinner Tilda and Love Cake for this card. The papers are all Stampin Up. To achieve the Gold paper, I used some So Saffron cardstock and sprayed a few layers of Gold Glimmer Mist over it. It is very deep and shimmery! The flowers were all airbrushed as was the sentiment. The yellow flowers have a touch of gold Glimmer Mist (GM) on them too. I used a water brush to lightly brush the yellow parts of the cake with some GM too. I colored Tilda with Copics (don't remember all of them, sorry)I would love to see what you come up with for this challenge!

Supplies:
Stamps - Dinner Tilda, Love Cake - Magnolia Stamps, sentiment (Amy R Birthday Stamps)
Paper - All SU, Gina K. 120 lb. White
Ink - Memento, Copics
Accessories - Stickles, Copic ABS, Nestabilities, Leaf Punch (Martha Stewart), Gold Glimmer Mist, Flowers (Prima), Rinestones, Ribbon (SU), 3-D foam tape, Water Brush
