Life's A Breeze Emma

Happy Friday to ya! I am so glad it is the weekend - it has been a busy one! We are having a birthday party tomorrow for my son who turns 6 next week - I have been running like a chicken all week. On top of that, my 4 year old's asthma has flared up, so we have been to the doctor again....I am so hoping he eventually outgrows this!

Here is another Beachies card.
This is Sugarplum Sunglasses Emma digi image from CC Designs (ATS). The sentiment is one of Amy R's Beach Sentiments. I am really late getting this card done for Amy R's sketch (AMYRS71)from last week. You can say it, I am a loser! LOL! I do like this sketch and plan to use it again. I used some PTI Aqua Mist cardstock to go with this new Making Memories Great Escape DP. I used my circle cutter to create the circles and sponged some Desert Sand (CTMH) ink around the edges.

I colored Emma with Copics, masked her and then airbrushed BG000 around her. I ran out of my last can of air doing that, so I had to sponge on the sand. I am happy to announce that I found a compressor for a fabulous price and it came today!! I hooked it up this afternoon! YAY! Can't wait to start playing with it!
Here are the copics I used:

Supplies - Stamps: Sugarplum Sunglasses Emma (CC Designs), Beach Sentiments (Amy R) - ATS; Paper: MM Great Escape DP, Aqua Mist - PTI, Gina K 80# White Cardstock; Ink - Digi Image (Printer), Copics, Memento Black, Desert Sand (CTMH); Accessories: Word Window Punch (SU), Ribbon (Offray), Circle Cutter (EK Success), Oval Nesties, Swirls CB folder, sponge

Make a Wish...and some Cupcake Pops!

Happy Tuesday to ya! I have one card to show you today as well as the cupcake pops I mentioned in yesterday's post.

Here is another birthday card - guess I am trying to stock up on them!
This is Changito Baker from Stampendous. Isn't he cute in his apron? The sentiment is another from Amy R's Birthday Sentiment's set. If you can't tell, I really {heart} her sentiment sets. Changito was colored with copics, cut out using Nesties and the background was sponged with Pink Pirouette. I cut the cake out and popped it up. I colored the icing and flames with Spica Glitter pens. The flower is another one of my crocheted flowers in Ecru DMC floss. I used the SU Sizzix leaf diecut for the leaves. The paper is Pretty in Pink, Gina K. 80# white and Basic Grey Sugared - going through some of my old stuff.

Here are the Copics and Glitter pens I used:
And now onto the Cupcake Pops!!

I got the idea for these from Bakerella's incredible blog. I made these with my kids and my Mom yesterday. Mine are not near as perfect as Bakerella's, but this was my first try at these! I bet they are just as yummy, though! (Click the link for the recipe and directions.) If you have never heard of these, it is essentially cake mixed with icing on a stick dipped in chocolate.

Cake + Icing + Chocolate = YUM!
My kids had so much fun making these!
Who, us? No, we have tasted anything!
Here is the finished product!
This is my oldest daughter and my Mom.
Need I say more?
Card Supplies: Stamps - Changito Baker - Stampendous, Sentiment - Amy R Birthday Sentiments; Paper - Pretty in Pink, Gina K. 80# white, Basic Grey Sugared; Ink - Memento, Pink Pirouette, Copics; Accessories - Atyou Glitter Pens, Crocheted Flower (mine), Leaf die - SU, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Nesties, Word Window Punch, brad - HL, sponges, pop dots

Late...Again!....Fashionably, of course!

Hope everyone is having a great Monday night! It was a busy day today with the kids - we made cupcake pops and went swimming. The kids loved the cake pops - I will post pics and info later!

I am lovin' this stamp! I have had it for about 4-5 months and just inked her up for the first time last week! Now I wonder what took me so long!
Bella is lookin' fab-o in her cool new clothes and matching purse! I used Amy R's Birthday Sentiments - it just screams to go with this stamp! I used up some prima's tonight along with some buttons - I have a large assortment of both and am trying to make room for some newer ones! I tied the buttons with pink crochet thread. The flourishes are a 4x4 die from QK. I used Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss and Basic Grey Sultry DP. I added a little Liquid Glass (CTMH) to her purse. It is hard to see (my photography stinks tonight - sorry too tired to re-take), but I sponged the background with some Pink Pirouette ink.
See below for copics:

Supplies: Stamps - 'emmybella' - StampingBella, Sentiment - Amy R (All That Scraps); Paper - Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, BG Sultry DP, Gina K. 80#; Ink - Memento, Copics, Pink Pirouette; Accessories - punch - McGill, flourishes - QK diecut, Liquid Glass - CTMH, primas, buttons, crochet thread, sponges, nesties, swiss dots CB folder

Fashionably Late

Another rainy day in FL - what's up with that?
I am used to a little heat and sunshine!

I needed a belated birthday card to send to one of my dear aunts!
Her birthday just slipped by me! Amy R's Birthday Sentiments from All That Scraps came to the rescue with the 'fashionably late' saying! It goes perfect with this Stamping Bella 'emmybella' image. I used some new Basic Grey Porcelain with Mellow Moss and Pink Pirouette. The flower embellishment is one I crocheted and paired with 2 punches and a BG brad - the fern punch is Martha Stewart and the leaf punch is EK Success.

I tried something different with my photography. My Canon has a function when shooting in Program Mode that you can see how the shot will look before you take it. Long story short, I got a much better shot.

Here is a close-up of this shopping diva. I colored her with copics, cut out her bags and popped them up and sponged Pink Pirouette ink around the image. I added a little Liquid Glass (CTMH) to her purse. I think it's some designer pink crocodile looking thing.

Here are the Copics I used.

Supplies: Stamps - EmmyBella (Stamping Bella), Birthday Sentiments (Amy R for ATS); Ink - Memento, Pink Pirouette, Copics; Paper - Pink Pirouette, Mellow Moss, Basic Grey Porcelain, Gina K. 80# PL cardstock; Accessories - sponges, crocheted flower (made by me), BG brad, punches - word window (McGill), Fern (Martha Stewart), Leaf (EK Success), CB Embossing folder, Nesties, Liquid Glass (CTMH), pop dots

Seas the Day Riley! SC234

Happy Monday Night!

It has been a busy few weeks! My in-laws just left today after a 13 day visit! I am beat after having company so long - just ready to get back to stampin'!

I made this cutie-pie last week for SC234 but did not have time to post it. This is Fins Riley from Hanna Stamps. He is one cool dude with his inner tube, goggles and fins. I used some of my left over MME DP from long ago - I {heart} these colors! I used Baja Breeze and Marigold Morning (way old SU In Color). The sentiment is one of Amy R's Beach Sentiments. This set is one of my current favs!

Here is a close-up of this 'beachin' dude!He was colored with my copics, masked and then the background was airbrushed using BG000.
Here are the rest of the Copics I used:

Supplies: Fins Riley - Hanna Stamps, Beach Sentiments - Amy R; Ink Memento, Copics; Paper - Baja Breeze, Marigold Morning, Gina K. 80# White, MME DP; Accessories - Copic ABS, Word Window Punch - SU, Nesties

Here are a couple of pics from our trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

My dd loved the Rock n Roll Roller coaster, so we shopped in the Aerosmith store and for entertainment, I took pics of the kids wearing Aerosmith gear! LOL!

This is my baby, giving the Hemingway 'seal of approval'! Anytime my kids like something, I get the 'thumbs up'!

Here are the boys with Buzz at Magic Kingdom.

Here is my dd sporting an Aerosmith hat and her double peace signs - she and all her friends love to pose doing this.

I ordered the new digi's from All That Scraps tonight, so hopefully I will get 'stampy' tomorrow and have some new stuff to show you!

Have a great night! ~Tori

Aloha....It's another Riley Card!

Aloha, y'all! Sorry I have not been around lately. My in-laws are in town and we just got back from a few days at Disney World and then the beach. We went to see Ice Age 3 today - so cute. We really enjoyed it.

I ordered some new Riley's before the contest ended, but they did not quite get here in time, but I still could not wait to use them. This is Hula Sophie. She is adorable in her grass skirt!
I have a new {favorite} copic color combo for coloring Riley & Sophie - E30, E35 and E37! It gives them a nice little tan! The sentiment is from Eclectic Paperie's Hangin' with Kona - they work perfect with the 'beachy' Riley stamps. I am trying to use up SU DP that is retiring - I used Hawaii Papaya DP along with Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss and Gina K. 80# PL cardstock. I also used Tangerine ribbon, linen thread, EK Success wavy border punch, nesties, buttons and primas. The background was created with my Copic Airbrush system.
Here is a close-up of this "Hula Hottie".

Here are the copics I used.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is my 2nd post for today using Surfer Riley.
I got this color scheme from a pair of patchwork surfer style shorts my son has from Gymboree. They are from last year's line, so I do not have a picture. I used Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze and Blue Bayou. The sentiment is another one from the eP Kona set. For texture, I used 4 different CB embossing folders. Riley was colored, cut out and then popped-up on top of the background, which was created using my airbrush system and a mask. I added some stickles to the wave and some Olive twill to the tag.
Here is a close-up of Riley in his cute trunks!
Here are the copics I used.
Hope you are having a great summer so far! It has been pretty hot in N. FL so far!
