7 Kids has a new challenge out today -

Non-Traditional Christmas Card (not using Red and Green together)

I used the Cocoa Emma Stamp from CC Designs.

Here is a close-up of Ms. Emma. She was colored with Copics and then cut out and mounted on the green panel using 3-D tape.

Hope you have an amazing day! Be sure to stop by and check out the other DT members' work too!

The only prob....she has to be at school tomorrow morning at 3:30 AM!! Eeekkk! Not looking forward to getting up so early to take her!

I pulled out some Figgy Pudding by Basic Grey - I {heart} this paper!! It goes perfect with Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke cardstock from SU. The snowflake punches are Martha Stewart. I took the large bling and colored it with some BG13 Copic Marker to match my project - easy peasy and dries instantly! I used my Copic ABS system to airbrush the sentiment with BG 13 also.
Here is a close-up of Henry. I used a little Liquid Applique to his marshmellows and some Stickles to his steam and the berries on the mug. Henry was colored with the following Copics:
W00, 1, 3, 5, 7; BG0000, BG10, BG11, BG13, R30; E30, 33, 35, 37; YG95, 93, 91, & 21.

Sweet Gingerbread!!

Happy Thursday, y'all! So much going lately, sorry I have not been posting more regularly. I promise to do a better job.

Pink Cat Studio has new Christmas digi's for you today!! I just adore these images as much as I adore real gingerbread!! My in-laws order these Gingerbread cookies as a fundraiser for my FIL's school and they are the best. We cannot get them in FL, so she always sends us a box every year! Now, I am jonesing for some!

I used the Gingerbread Family image as well as the FREE "Merry Christmas" sentiment for my card. I colored them with Copics and cut them out. I airbrushed the panel behind the 'Gingys' as well as the sentiment with Copic Marker and my ABS unit. I used several different Nestability Dies for this card. If you look close, I even cut a piece of white tulle out using a Nestie Die!! It worked perfectly! I also layered a little tulle in between the flowers. I added some clear Stickles around the edges of the tulle, the brad in the center of the flower as well as to Mrs. 'Gingy's' bow!

Here is a close-up of the cute family! I added some Matte puff paint (for T-shirts) for icing on the gingerbread people. I could not find any Liquid Applique and saw on Maria's blog that she uses this instead! (Thanks Maria!) You can see the tulle much better in this picture. I think it adds a nice touch to the card.

Be sure to check out all of the other DT member's blogs to see some more Christmas cheer!!

hugs,

Hope Your Day is Dino-Mite!!

Happy Thursday, y'all! Hope everyone had lots of fun on Halloween! My kids had a great time, but have been so tired since then. We are playing a little catch-up in our house!

Today, Pink Cat Studio has some awesome new digi's available. Check these cuties out!
-->Don't forget to purchase today, so you can get the free image!<--

I created 2 cards using the new Dino images. I have 2 boys (5 & 7), so they are perfect for boy birthdays which we go to a lot of!
Up first is the image with the 2 dinos.
I used some Basic Grey Archaic DP - perfect for boy dino cards, along with some River Rock cardstock (retired SU) and Dark Chocolate CS from PTI. The 'ca-ute' sentiment is one of the FREEBIES from PCS found here. I used the Curved Rectangle Nesties to cut out the image and a Tag Trio Nestie for the sentiment. I airbrushed the sentiment with some YG91 Copic Marker. I added lots of buttons and hemp twine (all PTI) along with some brown stitching (not too girly) to finish off this card. I find that I have lots of great elements for cards, but they seem to girly for boys cards. I would love for you to leave me a comment with some boy-ish elements that you use on your cards - I always need ideas on this!

Here is a close-up of these Dino Pals. I added some Glossy Accents to the eyes and balloon for some dimension.

Here is card #2. I used the same paper line, but different pattern along with the Dino with Cake image. If you look closely, he has taken a CHOMP out of his cake!

I used more buttons (PTI), pinking Nesties, Labels Trio Nesties, Stickles, and Glossy Accents on this card. For the horizontal panel, I ran it through my CB with the Tiny Mosaic embossing folder and then sponged some Dark Chocolate ink (PTI) around the edges. The sentiment is from Amy R stamps.

Here is a close-up. I think his eyes are a little milky because I took the picture before it was totally dry! Oops!

Hop on over to all of the other DT members blogs and check out more Dino-licious ideas!!
