New for 2012!!

Happy New Year, y'all!  Hope everyone is having a Blessed year so far!  First I would like to start off by sharing a Christmas photo of the kids!

They are getting so big these days!

Here is some new stuff that I have created in 2012!

New Birthday card I created using brand-spankin' new PaperTrey Ink stamps!!

 This is the new Think Big Favorites #12 and the Lace Bouquet sets.  I stamped the flowers using Aqua Mist and Moss (PTI inks) to give it a multi-colored blend.  The sentiment was stamped in Moss onto Aqua Mist paper and pearls were added.  Easy peasy!  (it's available in my shop if you are interested!)

Muslin Favor Bags are all the rage, so I decided to try my hand at some!

 Easter or can be stamped with no sentiment for Baby Showers!
 Wedding/Baby Showers!
 Destination wedding favors!
 perfect for Princess Party faovr bags!!

Destination/Beach Weddings
I think they turned out adorable!

Here is some new Easter Stuff:

You can check out all of this new stuff in my shop!

Have an awesome rest of the day!  I will be back soon to share some other new stuff with ya!

Back to School!

Happy Wednesday, y'all!! Hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated in this heat! OUCH it's hot!

Today, 7 Kids has another challenge for you! This week's challenge is:

Back to School!

It's almost that time of year (silently saying yay!!) and I wanted to make a quick teacher gift and card.I used Shy Kiki LaRue from CC Designs for my card. Something about her clothes just screams school! I decided to make a matching Post-It Note Holder to go with my card. These are super-simple to make using a binder clip, some cardstock, ribbon, post-it notes and a coaster. I used SU cardstock and Paper Studio DP.
I used these Nesties to cut her out. I used Copics to color Kiki and blue ink to distress the edges of the stamped image.

Supplies:
Stamps - Shy KikiLaRue, Sentiment (PTI)
Paper - Paper Studio DP, SU cardstock,
Ink - Memento, Copics
Accessories - Nestabilities, Post it note, coaster, binder clip, ribbon, buttonm star punch

More Spooky-ness!!

Happy Tuesday! I have been busy working on Halloween tags among other stuff! It is raining here and one of my kiddos is under the weather, so we are hangin out at home! I did help my 8 year old beat a boss level on Super Mario Galaxy 2! I might be grown up, but I still enjoy my video games here and there! LOL!

These uber cool images are from the Magic of OZ #3 Cling set available for pre-order over at 7 Kids! These tags would be perfect for tying up a Halloween treat for classmates, neighbors or just something sweet for your kids!

I stamped these images using some Black Soot Distress Ink

and distressed them with some Tea Dye Distress Ink - both from Tim Holtz. The Wicked tags were cut out using these Nestabilities.

Here is a variation without the Tea Dye ink.

Supplies:
Stamps - Magic of OZ #3 Clings (Graphic 45), sentiments other than Wicked (PTI)
Paper - PTI carstock
Ink - Black Soot, Tea Dye Distress Ink
Accessories - Nestabilities, ribbon, Crop-A-Dile, corner rounder

Christmas is Coming!!

Well, it's still pretty far off, but it is never too late to start planning!

I made a new project for the 7 Kids Challenge this week:

Anything But a Card!!

I decided to make a Christmas Planner to help me stay organized this year! Lord knows I need it! I feel like my head is not screwed on straight this year. I definitely have ADD as an adult! I swear I cannot stay on task these days! Ugh! I used Santa's Helper Tilda from Magnolia, which is out of stock at 7 Kids right now, but Tab should be getting her and other Magnolia Christmas stamps back in stock soon!

~~~~~~~~
Speaking of Magnolia stamps.... Tab is offering a 15% discount on the brand new Winner Takes All Collection Pre-Order (that collection only)!!! Use the code: WINNER through Aug 9th to receive the discount! Such cuties in this collection!
~~~~~~~~

I used a notepad from PTI for the inside and some 'vintage' Basic Grey papers on the outside. I used Nesties to cut out the title which I created on my PC and distressed it with some Fired Brick Distress Ink to distress all of the edges. I added a poinsetta flower, leaf, pom pom ribbon and pearl brad for embellishments.
Here are the Copics used: E11, 00, 000, R30, R39, 37, 35, 32, E42, 41, 40, E59, 57, 55, 53. I added some Stickles to Tilda's hat and lace on her top. Here is a quick peek at the inside of the planner.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Supplies:
Stamps - Santa's Helper (Magnolia), title (PC)
Paper - SU Cardstock, Basic Grey DP
Ink - Memento, Copics, Distress Ink (Tim Holtz)

You're Fintastic!

Good Tuesday Afternoon, y'all! I am back from the beach with my kids - just in time for Shark Week to start!! So glad to be out of the water! LOL! We love the beach, but are very careful in the water.

I decided to make a beachy card, using Pearl Tidepool from CC Designs.

These series of mermaids are adorable and I love them! 7 Kids carries the whole line of these bathing beauties!! I colored Pearl with Copics, cut out and added Stickles to her tail. I airbrushed the doily with B05 Copic Marker and then added some Glimmer Mist to it for some shimmer. I then smeared on some MudPuddles sand and added some seashells! The sentiment was computer generated and punched out distressed along with all of the other papers and popped it up.

Copics used: E11, 00, 000, R30, YR09, 04, 02, 00, B05, G99, 94, 00, 20, E59, 57, 55, 53

Tricks or Treats?

Happy Sunday, y'all!! It is pouring here in FL right now, so I thought I would throw together a little Halloween project. Yes, it is time for me to start working on Halloween stuff!

I made a Treat container using an upcycled Tootsie Roll container. This would make a cute gift to give a neighbor filled with whatever sweet or spooky treat you like!

This is So Spooky Tilda. She is out of stock at the moment, but I am sure Tab will be getting her back in stock soon. I colored her with Copics and cut her out. She is popped up on top of the doily I sponged with orange and black distress ink. I used 2 different Martha Stewart punches: drippy goo and spooky picket fence. The picket fence is hard to find, but this is a good substitute.
Here is the side view of the sentiment. I stamped them with black distress ink and cut them out. They were sponged with purple and black distress ink and popped up with 3-D tape.

Here is a close-up of Tilda. The Copics I used are:

E11, 00, 000, R30, V09, 06, 04, 01, C7, 5, 3, 1, E37, 35, 33, 59, 57, 55, 53, 50, Y26, 21
