Happy Halloween Tilda

Happy Thursday, peeps! I am pre-posting this, 'cause I am a busy girl today and know I won't have time to post it tomorrow!

I created another card with So Spooky Tilda. (I confess, she is my only Halloween Tilda), but she is so darn cute and looks so different depending on how I design the card!
I used some of my new Memory Box Blackbird DP. I paired it with some Crushed Cherry and Black Cardstock (SU). Tilda is popped up on some panels that were cut using my Deckled Nestabilities. The flowers are Primas and Wild Orchid Crafts. I airbrushed the Prima with some black Copic marker.
Can you see the Stickles on her dress? She is probably more sweet than spooky!!

Hope you have an awesome day!

A Bewitchingly Cute Card!

Hi there! Today is Wednesday and 7 Kids has a brand new Challenge for you today!! This weeks Challenge is to use 2 Halloween themed stamps on this really cute sketch from Lisa A!
I really think she knocked this one out of the park! It was a huge challenge for me to use all of the elements, but I managed to do it! (It wouldn't be called a challenge if it were easy, right? LOL)

For my 2 stamps, I used So Spooky Tilda and Edwin's Town stamps from Magnolia. I colored all of the images with copics and then cut them out. I only used 2 of the 3 houses from the stamp and layered them on top of each other. I used some distress ink to darken up the edges around everything. Here is a close-up of Tilda. It is hard to tell, but her petticoat and pocket have clear stickles on them. I also added some to the flowers. It is so cute in person!
Here is a sideview so you can see some of the layering.

Be sure to stop by all of the DT members' blogs for more Halloween Sweetness!

Lady Tilda

Happy Tuesday! It is rainy here today, so I am getting some scrappy stuff done!! Yay!

I have a new Tilda easel card to share with you. I finally inked up Lady Tilda and the Castle Background. I bought these stamps when they first came out several months ago and finally got to them! LOL - I really need to get better about inking things immediately! These beautiful papers are from the Memory Box Gossamer collection. I paired it with some Pale Plum (SU), and Spring Moss (PTI). I used a distressing tool to distress all of the edges. The purple flowers are Prima and the white ones are Wild Orchid Crafts. You can get the fern punch here.
I really like how the coloring turned out. For the ground and bushes, I did a series of dots and then blended them with a lighter color.
Here is a sideview of the Easel card. I love these cards because they pack such a punch, but are really simple to make!
I computer generated the sentiment and distressed it too.

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow!! 7 Kids has a brand new Challenge being issued and it is sure not to disappoint!

Supplies: (Most of the supplies can be purchased HERE at 7 Kids College Fund)
Stamps - Lady Tilda, Castle Background (Magnolia Stamps)

Happy Harvest!!

Happy First day of Fall, y'all!! It does not feel like fall here in FL, but it is definitely cooler here - 80's instead of 90's!! Lol!

Pink Cat Studio has new Fall Digi's available today!! This is Billy in Pile of Leaves. Isn't he too adorable?
I have no idea who made this DP - I have had it for a long time! I thought it was great Fall paper! The ribbon is SU, the button and sentiment are PTI. I colored with Copics and sponged some Really Rust around the edges.
Here is a close-up of Billy. I remember playing in the leaves in the as a kid and how much fun it was. This image made me reminisce how fun the fall was when I was a kid!

Have a wonderful day! :)

Some Spooky Stuff!!

Happy Thursday, y'all! We have almost made it to the weekend of yet another busy week! Now that the kids are back in school, I really look forward to the weekends!

Today, Pink Cat Studio has some of the cutest digi's you have ever seen being released!! I am totally in full Halloween mode now that all of the Halloween stuff is out everywhere! I have not decorated my house yet for Halloween, but probably end of September I will! It has been very warm (still in the 90's) here until yesterday when we had an arctic blast that brought the high only to the mid 80's!! LOL! Gotta love FL weather!

Ok, back to the important stuff...Here is the cuteness that is now available...
Melissa's new Blobby images are just too adorable! Ok, so I could not pick which image to use, so I made 3 cards!! Very rare for me to have time, but I was so in love with these images! I used my favorite Halloween DP - Eerie from Basic Grey on all of them.
The first one up is: Frankenstein Billy.
'Frank' was colored with Copics and I used some Perfect Plum ink (SU) to sponge around him. He was cut out and layered using Nesties. The sentiment is from a TGF Halloween set from last year. I added some Glossy Accents to his candy pail.

Next up is Frankenstein Blobby!
OMGosh...I had so much fun on this card! I just love how it turned out! I whipped out my trusty sewing machine (ok, more like walked over to it!) and added some stitching. I also used foam tape to pop up the whole top panel! I used some Pumpkin Pie ink to distress around him too. The image was cut out using my pinking nesties.
His little pail has some Glossy Accents on it too! This sentiment is also from the same set.

For my final card, I used Witch Lily.
I was jonesing for some candy corns when I colored her, so I made her look like a candy corn witch! I imagine she is a very sweet witch who hands out lots of candy! I used my Copic ABS to airbrush the gauze-like ribbon layered behind her. It works like a charm - still think my ABS system was one of the best things I ever bought! I cut the panels behind her out with my Nesties and then ran it through the cuttlebug with this embossing folder. I could not decide which piece of this DP I liked best for this card, so I made it a patch-work of all of the ones I liked and used my sewing machine to stitch it together. I love how it turned out! :)

She has lots of Stickles on her dress! I also added some Orange Copic Atyou pen to her hair in streaks to give it a little shimmer. Glossy Accents was also added to her pail.

Hope you have a great day! :)
