Patriotic Birthday!!

Good Thursday Morning to ya! I have a new birthday card to show you today. My MIL asked me to make a card for a friend of hers whose birthday is on July 4th! What a fun day to have a birthday IMO. I used Birthday Tilda for this card and lots of SPARKLE!

I added Stickles to the cake, flowers and around the edges of the stamped image and sentiment. I computer generated the sentiment as I have lost my beloved stamp that had the same sentiment. I think I might have accidentally thrown it out. It was an acrylic stamp, so it probably got lost in the shuffle and ended up in the trash by accident. I punched lots of red and blue leaves and added WOC flowers.

Here is a close-up of Tilda - you can see her sparkly cake!

Gotta get this off to my MIL today so she can mail it off - oops, I am running late!

Supplies:
Stamps - Birthday Tilda (Magnolia)
Paper - PTI cardstock and DP, Bazzill cardstock
Ink - Memento, Copics
Accessories - Stickles, Nestabilities, Fern Punch

It's So Fluffy! 7 Kids Challenge #24

Happy Wednesday, y'all! Hope everyone is staying cool today! It is supposed to be 100 degrees today in jax, FL and the wildfires here are making it very smokey! So, I think I will just stay inside and craft today! Pull up a glass of lemonade and come check out my latest card for the 7 Kids Challenge Blog.

The challenge this week is to make it FLUFFY using felt, suede, fun flock or Flower Soft.
I chose to use the Raspberry Fizz Ultra Fine Flower Soft on Tilda's flowers in her basket! I used the Tilda with Flowing Hair stamp. The DP is some Lemonade from Basic Grey as well as some polka dot Bo Bunny DP too. Tilda was cut out using this Nestie. I inked the edges of the stamped image and the sentiment (CC Designs) with some SU retired ink.
I colored Tilda with these Copics:
Skin - E11, 00, 000, R30
Hair - E59, 57, 35, 53
Dress - E95, 93, 21, 00, 000
All Else - E37, 35, 33, 31, W5, 3, 00, C5, 3, 1

Thanks for stopping by!

Feelin' Hot, Hot, Hot!!

Happy Wednesday, y'all!! Today is my day to host the Challenge over at 7 Kids College Fund Cahallenge Blog! So, pop on over to see all of the details!

This week's challenge is:

Feelin' Hot, Hot, Hot (share the Love)

Make a Hot, Summery card, but NO Magnolia Stamps!!

That's right folks - No Maggies!! We love our Maggies, but want to share the love with some of the other awesome stamps 7 Kids carries!I used the Shimmer Redkelp image from CC Designs for my card. 7 Kids carries a huge selection of CC Designs stamps - go check them out! The sentiment comes from CC Designs as well (I think it's retired). I airbrushed both the sentiment and the panel behind Shimmer using Copic Marker and Nesties to cut them out. The orange panel was embossed using this Cuttlebug folder. I used an EK Success border punch behind that panel. Shimmer wouldn't be Shimmer without a little Stickles (or a lot!). I airbrushed clear Dew Drops with BG13 to match my project and added some Stickles to them too. There is a bit of ribbon and a shell charm to finish off the card!

I colored this image a while back, but I will try to recall what Copic colors I used:

Skin - E11, 00, 000, R30

Hair - BG13, 11, 10, 0000

Fins - YG 97, 95, 93, 21

All Else - YR18, 16, 15, E43, 42, 41, 40, BG11, YR16

Be sure anre check out the rest of the DT's Summery Goodness!

Supplies:
Stamps - Shimmer Redkelp (CC Designs), sentiment CC Designs
Paper - Bo Bunny DP, Cardstock SU

Ice Cream Weather!!

Happy Tuesday Night! I am up a bit late tonight. Got the bug to create another Tilda card. I will make this quick - 'cause I do need to get in bed! I hope it is warming up in your neck of the woods. With temperatures in the upper and mid 90's this week, it has been ICE CREAM weather!!

So, I decided to use Ice Cream Tilda for my card.

I used some Basic Grey Olivia DP,

which is out of stock over at 7 Kids right now, but I am sure Tab will have it back in stock soon. I airbrushed the doily with Copic marker and inked the edges of the circle and the sentiment. I added Stickles to just about everything!! LOL - just went crazy with the glitter!

I colored this image about a month ago, so I really do not remember which ones I used - sorry!

(This card is available in my Etsy Store if you are interested!)
