Happy Belated Birthday Tab!!

Happy Monday, y'all!! I am so late getting this posted as we went out of town over the weekend and I did not get a chance to get this photographed and up on my blog!!! We went to Orlando this weekend to see the Nease Indoor Percussion line compete at WGI Regionals! My daughter plays the 'vibes' in the pit. They ended up getting 5th place. We were disappointed because we really felt they deserved 3rd place. They still put on a wonderful performance and I am so proud of all of their hard work!!

So, Happy Belated Birthday Tab!! (Friday was Tab from 7 Kids College Fund's birthday)
This is one of my new favoritw Tildas!! This is Birthday Tilda. I used some old Urban Prairie from Basic Grey for this card along with some SU cardstock. Tilda was cut out with Oval Nesties and inked around the edges. The sentiment was cut with Tag Trio Nesties and airbrushed with some BG11 and 13 Copic marker. The crocheted flowers are handmade by moi!! You can find them here. The leaf punch is Martha Stewart and the fern punch can be found here.

Spring has sprung!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! The weather is finally getting warmer here - yay! So, I decided I needed to make an Easter card!
This is Tilda with a Flower in her Hair.
I used some paper from The Paper Studio along with some PTI cardstocks. The crocheted soft yellow flowers are some of my handmade flowers that can be found in my Etsy Store. I can make them in almost any color, so just Convo me on Etsy if you want a color I don't have shown. I added a pink brad to the center and added some Stickles on top of them. I distressed the edges around all of the papers and added some ink around the Nestability egg behind Tilda.
In the close-up, you can see the Stickles that I added to Tilda's eggs. I colored her with these Copics:
E11, 00, 000, R30, C9, 7, 5, 3, 1, 00, BG13, 11, 10, 0000, YG97, 95, 91, 21, B05, 00, 000, V06, 00, Y11, 00, R24, 22

Have Some Cake and Be Square!

Happy Wednesday, y'all. How are ya? I am busy today catching up on projects and cleaning my office.

Today 7 Kids has a brand new challenge:

CALLING ALL SQUARES

make a square card - any size, just has to be square

I decided to take the square theme and also turn it into an easel card. Love the look of these! The papers are from the Jubilee DP set from Memory Box. I airbrushed some doilies with some R24 Copic Marker. I used some Nesties for the sentiment and image and inked around the edges with some Ruby Red ink (SU). The flowers are WOC and have Stickles added to them as well as Tilda's yummy cake! Tiny pearls were added all over for some more dimension. Here is a sideview of the Easel Card.

Here is a front view of this sweetie!

Ahoy!

Happy Friday, y'all!! It feels like forever since I have posted, but it has been an insane week!! My youngest has had the swine flu all week. He has asthma, so it is more serious for him. He has been fever free for 2 days now, but still has a bad cough and had to go on prednisone so he does not get viral pneumonia!! Eek! He has already had pneumonia twice before, so he is kind of prone. To top it off, I had a wisdom tooth extracted this week too. We were certainly a pair laying around on the couches all week! I finally feel much better, so I made it up to my office to get crafty! I missed my office!

Today I have a Pirate Edwin card to share with you. It can be used a birthday, hello, or whatever it needs to be!
I used Pirate Edwin, Barrel, Skull and Anchor and Ocean Background stamps from Magnolia. I used some PTI cardstock and distressed it around the edges with a distresser tool. The image was torn around the edges and then Tea Dye Distress ink was applied around the edges. Charms like the one I used can be found here. Floss can be found here.
Here is a close-up of Edwin. I used these Copics:
E11, 00, 000, R30, C7, 9, 5, 3, 1, E37, 35, 33, 31, 30, E43, 42, 41, 40, R39, 37, 35, 32, B97, 95, 93, 91, E55, 53, 50, B000,00, BG72, BG10

Supplies:
Stamps - Pirate Edwin, Barrel, Skull and Anchor, Ocean Background, sentiment (SU)
Paper - cardstock
