Sending You Birthday Wishes!

Happy Hump Day (Wednesday), y'all!! Hope everyone is staying cool! It has been one of the hottest summers we have had since I have lived in FL. I grew up in N. TX, and it was often over 100 degrees, but the humidity was not as high.

This little Maggy of mine had not seen any ink in a while, so I decided to give her some love! Gosh, I have so many that have not seen any ink! I need to get busy inkin' them up!This is Tilda with Flowing Hair. I could not wait to use my new Memory Box Gossamer DP! I used some PTI cardstock and a distressing tool and distressed all of the edges of the cardstock and DP. I layered 2 Primas for the floral embellishment. For the hydrangea, I airbrushed it with my Copic ABS and some YG93 Copic Marker. I added some pearls around the rectangle as another accent. I also used a floral branch punch, an EK Success Swirl punch and some white fabric covered floral wire for the swirly-things (availale at craft stores in floral section) to complete the embellishment.I colored Tilda with my Copics and cut her out. It is hard to tell in this picture, but I added some clear Stickles to her basket of flowers and to the purple Prima.

Here are the colors I used to color Tilda:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20

Clothes & Flowers: RV0000, RV91, RV93, RV95

Hair: E50, E53, E55, E59

Basket & Shoes: E31, E33, E35, E37, YG91, YG93, YG95,

Beachy Tilda

Happy Tuesday! It has been such a busy weekend, I had to take yesterday to regroup and chill out! We had friends visiting for the weekend as well as my 7 year old's swimming birthday party.

I have not made a ton of summery card this summer, so I thought I would get crackin' before summer is over!
For this card, I used Beach Tilda, Beach Fence, and Bridge Deck stamps from Magnolia Stamps. The base paper is from Bazzill and the DP is some new Basic Grey Olivia available over here. I used some flowers from Wild Orchid. I used white flowers and airbrushed them with my Copic Air Brush System with some R21 Copic marker. The leaf punch is my new Nellie Snellen Floral Branch punch. I am in love with this new punch!! The sentiment comes from a PTI Limited Edition set. I used Nestabilities to cut out the sentiment and the stamped image. I used the Lattice Border punch from Martha Stewart.
For the stamped image, I did lots of masking. I stamped the Bridge Deck and masked it off to airbrush the sand and water, again with my Copic ABS. Then, with it still masked off, I stamped the Beach Fence and masked it off to airbrush the sky. Tilda was colored with Copics, cut out and layered using dimensional adhesive. Below are the Copics I used.

Birthday Wishes Tilda!

Good Wednesday morning to ya! I am getting my mojo back now that things have settled down around here and am enjoying pumping out some new goodies!

Today, I have another birthday Tilda card to share with you. I sell a lot of birthday cards on my Etsy store and they always seem to be in demand, hence my propensity for creating them!
I used Jam Tilda and the Tin Boxes stamps from Magnolia to create this card. The panel behind Tilda was cut using a Label Nestability and airbrushed with some YG93 Copic marker. The paper is some Basic Grey Infuse I had lying around. I used my sewing machine to create a whimsical border. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaf punch can be found here. Here is a close-up of Tilda. Everything was colored with Copics and cut out. I added some glossy accents to the window of the heart cookie tin. Inkssentials Gel Pen was added to Tilda's cheeks.
Supplies:
Stamps - Jam Tilda & Tin Boxes - Magnolia Stamps
Paper - Basic Grey Infuse & SU
Accessories - leaf punch, Copic ABS, Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts, Nestabilities, Inkssentials Gel pen, Glossy Accents, sewing machine, scoring tool, ATG Gun

Seas The Day!!

Happy Tuesday! Hope you are having a wonderful day so far. It is very hot here today, so we spent a little time by the pool today. So in keeping with the warm weather and the water, I made this shadow box card! The wonderful thing about these cards is that they still fold flat to fit in an envelope and are easily mailed!

I used this cute little mermaid from CC Designs. She comes with her little sea lion pup friend!
To create my shadow box card, I started with 2 pieces of cardstock measuring 6x5 inches. Using a scoring tool, score the 6 inch side at .5", 1", 5" & 5.5". Fold the .5" & 5.5" to form a peak and the 1" & 5" lines to form a valley. I used a Nestability die to cut out the window on the front piece. Now you want to decorate the inside of your shadow box. I used distress inks to paint the background on watercolor paper and washed it with some Glimmer Mist to make it shimmer. My other elements were colored on Copic friendly paper with Copics and cut out. I popped all of the elements on the inside up with 3-D foam dots. After you have decorated the inside, you need to adhere the 2 papers together using Sookwang Tape.
Here is a close-up of this swimming cutie. After coloring her with Copics, I covered her fins with Stickles. I also added some pearls to her ear and belt.
Here is a sideview of the card, so you can see the dimension.

Let Them Eat Cake!!

Happy Friday, y'all! Hope you have a fun weekend planned. We have some birthday parties to go to as well as some good ol' hangin' out planned! So glad it's not another crammed weekend.

I have a new Magnolia card to share with you today. I bought this slice of cake stamp a while back and am finally getting around to using it! I also used another Magnolia Stamp - Jam Tilda. The sentiment is a PTI stamp. I used some retired SU DP along with Pretty in Pink and Purely Pomegranate cardstock. The doily behind Tilda is from Wilton. I airbrushed it with some E71 Copic marker using my Copic ABS system. The leaves are from Martha Stewart and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. The tag was created using Tag Trio from Nestailities.
Here is a close-up of Tilda. She was colored with Copic Markers, cut out and popped up with 3-D foam tape. I added some Inkessentials White Gel pen to her cheeks.
Here is a sideview of her cake. I added some Glossy Accents to the icing.

Other Supplies:

ATG Gun, & Scoring Tool

Have a wonderful weekend, y'all! I am hoping to get some more stamping done today! This card will be listed in my Etsy Store in a little while!

Sweet Birthday!

Hello, hello! Yes, it's me again! I am finally back from my trip to West Palm Beach & New Smyrna Beach for the holiday week. My in-laws were here for 9 days, but have now gone back to PA. I am hopefully back to crafting at a more regular pace. I have missed it!

Today, Pink Cat Studio has some new Digi Releases!

This is Strawberry Lily. I thought she would make a perfect birthday card for a little girl in my son's class that is turning 5 and having her party this weekend. Her Mom is a SU Demo, so she will appreciate a hand-made card! LOL!

I printed her on PTI White paper and colored her with Copics (listed below). The sentiment is one of PCS' free sentiments - available here. I created a mask of her and then airbrushed around her using my YG11 Copic. I airbrushed the base flowers another shade of green to match. I love this strawberry paper from Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry DP. I also airbrushed the doilie I used with some R02. Here are the Copics I used.

These are the new digi's available. Look at the cutie pie free stamp available only today!!

Supplies:

Paper: Wild Wasabi, Dustry Durango - SU, Basic Grey - Nook & Pantry

Ink: Copic Markers, Copic Airbrush, Inkessentials White Gel Pen

Accesories: Tag Punch - SU, Fern Punch - Martha Stewart, Primas, Nestabilities, ATG Gun, Scor-Pal
