Happy Birthday Wishes!! 7 Kids Birthday Challenge!!

Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone is having a good one. It is very warm in FL right now, way too warm (almost 90 today!! Eek!) I would love to hear about the weather in your neck of the woods!

Today, 7 Kids College Fund is having another challenge today and the theme is:

BIRTHDAY!

Who doesn't always need birthday cards in their stash?? I never seem to have enough!

I decided to make an Easel card for this challenge. I used CC Designs Swiss Pixie Miss Rosalie stamp. She is so sweet and versatile. I colored her with Copics and cut her out. She was popped up on a panel cut with Oval Nestabilities and run through my Cuttlebug with the Birthday embossing folder. Here is a sideview of the cuteness! I airbrushed both of the pink panels using my Copic ABS. The inside panel is for a quick message. Here is a close-up of Miss Rosalie.

Be sure to hop around and see the other DT Members' blogs for more Birthday cuteness!

Just Skating By!

Happy Thursday, y'all!! Wow, it has been a while since I have posted!! I feel a little like Betty today - just skating by!! It has been a really busy 2 weeks for me. Last week, I made 7 mini scrapbook albums for a neighbor. Her daughter was having a slumber party and she printed pics for them to add to my pre-made albums. This week has been filled with errands, field trips, doctors visits, etc. I feel like I am just able to see the top of the mountain from the bottom of the hill! I am sure everyone has those weeks every once in a while, but I am sure ready for the weekend!

Pink Cat Studio has new digi's out today and they are perfect for your holiday cards!!

See the FREE bird?? Isn't he cute! Only FREE Today!

I decided to make a shaker card with Betty. The shaker windows are from Impression Obsession.

I used some more Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly DP along with some Ocean Tides (PTI) and Riding Hood Red (SU) cardstocks. I filled the shaker card with some teal tinsel, snow glitter and clear glitter (All Martha Stewart).

Here is a close-up of the shaker portion. There is some tinsel sticking right on Betty's face, so I could not get a clear pic of her face. Here is a sideview to show you some dimension.

Supplies -

Stamps - Itty Bitty Betty Ice Skating Digi (PCS), sentiment (PTI)

Ink - Memento, Copics, Aqua Mist Ink (PTI)

Paper - Jolly by Golly DP (Cosmo Cricket), Cardstock (PTI & SU)

Joy to the World!!

Happy Wednesday, y'all! I am so glad it is the middle of the week. It is going by fast, but I am looking forward to the weekend.

7 Kids College Fund has another Challenge posted today:

I decided to make another Easel card - just love these things! They look so impressive, but are so easy to make! :) I used several layers and a whopping 13 flowers!! (3 on the inside) I decided to use the Santa Birgitta image by CC Designs that can be found here. I am trying to get a jump start on the Christmas cards that I sell this year. I still need to figure out what I am going to make for my personal cards, but they are less involved since I make around 100 of them - eek! Better get started on those too!

Anyhow, I used some more Eskimo Kisses DP from Basic Grey. This was my favorite paper last season! The loopy border punch is from Martha Stewart. I used a CB Embossing folder to emboss the panel behind the image. I cut that panel with Nestabilities as well as the sentiment. The sentiment was airbrushed with some R27 Copic Marker. I added Stickles to the red flowers and Birgitta's angel wings for some sparkle.
Here is a view of it in the Easel stance. I created a clear panel airbrushed around the edges for a quick message.

Supplies - Stamps - Santa Birgitta (CC Designs), sentiment PTI

Paper - Riding Hood Red & Old Olive Cardstock (SU), Eskimo Kisses DP (Basic Grey)

Accessories - Stickles, Nestabilities, Loopy Punch (Martha Stewart), Flowers (Prima, WOC), Embossing Folder (CB), Copic ABS

Merry and Bright!!

Happy Tuesday, y'all! I have been in a holiday spirit lately and thought I would work on my Christmas cards.

I have card to show you this morning that uses another of the cute digi's released last week over at Pink Cat Studio. This is the Betty and Snowman Decorate a Tree image.
I used some new papers from Memory Box (Mistletoe) along with some Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler (i think that's what it's called) from SU. I used a tag Nestability die for the PTI sentiment and a Labels Die for the image. I airbrushed the tag die and sponged red ink around the image. The flowers are hydrangeas that I airbrushed with R27 & R39 Copic marker and then added some clear stickles to the centers. The border die is a Martha Stewart punch and the leaf punch can be found here (swear it is one of my favorite embellishments!)
Here is a close-up of Betty and Mr. Snowy. I colored them with Copics and added clear Stickles to the balls.

Hope you have a wonderful day!! :)

Season's Greetings!!

Happy Thursday, y'all!! Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful fall weather we are having. The humidity has packed its bags and the temps here in FL have been glorious!! (Too cold for swimming, but beautiful none the less!!)

Pink Cat Studio has a new digi release today!! Melissa has created some amazingly cute Christmas stamps this week! Perfect if you want to get a head start on your cards this year.
Did you see the super cute FREE stamp?? Those birds are adorable!
I used Lily the Elf Carrying Tree.

I pulled out some of my Cosmo Cricket Jolly By Golly DP along with some PTI cardstocks. I was in the mood for a non-traditional Christmas card! The sentiment is from a PTI set as well as the buttons and twine. I used deckled rectangle Nestabilities to cut out the digi image.
Here is a close-up of sweet Lily. I colored her with Copics and added some clear Stickles to the balls on the tree. It is kind of faint, but I airbrushed around the edges of the image with some BG10 Copic marker. The tag was airbrushed with some RV14 Copic Marker.
Supplies:
Stamps - Lily Elf (PCS Digi), sentiment (PTI)
Paper - Jolly By Golly (Cosmo Cricket), PTI cardstocks
Accessories - Tag Nestie, Deckled Nestie, Snowflake Punch (Martha Stewart), Buttons and Twine (PTI), Copic ABS, Stickles,

Halloween Night Paper Bag Album!

Happy Oct. 1st! I can't wait to decorate for Halloween tomorrow after the boys baseball games! Fall seems to finally be hitting N. FL - it was cool (70's) this morning and it is sunny and breezy. That fall smell is in the air - love that smell. Here in FL, we do not get a huge change of seasons, so I enjoy the break from the heat and humidity!

I have a new Paper Bag Album to share with you today - another Halloween one! I will be quick - gotta get some stuff done before the kids get out of school.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I plan on doing some fall baking and decorating this weekend and enjoying the new weather!
