Happy Tuesday, Y'all!
It totally crept up on me that TODAY is my 1 yr. blog-a-versary!! I will be giving away some more crocheted flowers as a blog-a-versary candy! See end of post for more info! I really appreciate all of your sweet comments and support in the last year - it inspires me to create new stuff each & every day!
It is a beautiful day here in N. FL and I just got finished planting some plants around the pool! I wanted to get that done before my dd's swimming party this weekend and also before it gets too dang hot!!
Anyway, Changito has been busy whipping a little something up!
These stamps are from the new Stampendous Changito Baker set. I just melt whenever I see this cute monkey! I have so many Changito stamps and they really need to see more ink! Also, I used another one of my crocheted flowers! Sorry if I inundate you with them in the coming weeks, but I really like the way they turned out!! I also will be stocking up on Basic Grey Glazed Brads as they are the perfect accompaniment! I stamped Changito with Memento ink, colored with my Copics and then used my Labels 2 Nestie to cut out. I then inked around the edge with Pink Pirouette. The DP is from Basic Grey's Eva set. I also used Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette and Gina K. 80# white paper. I ran the card base through my CB with the Swiss Dots folder. The Sentiment was stamped on Gina K paper, cut out with the Ribbon Tag Trio Nestie and then sponged with more Pink Pirouette. I cut the cake out separately and popped it up with a glue dot. I added liquid glass on the candles, pink icing and heart on the sentiment. The ribbon is Olive Twill from SU.
Here are the Copics I used:
Ok, onto the Blog-a-versary Candy stuff.... Leave me a comment on this post with your favorite kind of cake/baked dessert for a chance to win some crocheted flowers like the ones you see above in my card. The colors of the flowers will be some white and some pink. Please leave your comments by Friday, May 1st at noon and I will pick the winner on Friday afternoon!
Good luck!
Thanks for stopping by!
~Tori

Love this card, thank you for sharing.
Well, I actually have MANY favorite kinds of cake, lol, but the one we all loved thru the years of celebrations was yellow cake with homemade caramel icing....MMMMMMMM, nothing beats that! :) Thanks for the chance to win!
Super cute! Your flowers are awesome!
Congratulations Tori!!! How exciting!!!! You have done an amazing job in the last year! I just love this card! The image is colored beautifully and the crocheted flower and the brad work so well together! Just love it!!!
I have to say red velevet is my absolute favorite! We have it every year without fail it seems like at most everyones birthday!

OOo-- Pick me!! :) Your Lily card is just adorable-- I love the soft pinks/greens.
BTW-- I'm all about ANY cake really... but my favorite is one from a family friend who makes homemade TWINKIE cake--- MMMMM... Twinkie filling between yellow cake layers. My neices have one every birthday (and I happily take some home as leftovers for breakfast the next day!)
I just love Chanigto too!! Thanks for the invite to your blog, it is great!! Your artwork is fabulous! ;)
Happy Blog-a-versary!!

I'll be honest: I've never met a cake I didn't like ... but anything chocolate is a huge favorite!

LOVE these flowes Tori! So cute!
My fave cake? Probably Carrot cake with cream cheese icing! Yum!
Again - congrats on one year - that's awesome!
Congrats on your first year! Boy, it is hard to pick just one homebaked favorite so I will give you two...Homemade cheesecake (great recipe I got from a neighbor when I was in high school) and Better Than Anything Else Cake (made with German chocolate cake mix, caramel, whipped cream and crumbled Score candy) - YUMMY!
Love your Changito Monkey card...haven't ventured in that area yet. So many companies to choose from!
Alma =)
Cute card. Love your flowers also. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was a young girl. I love doing all kinds of crafts, but my favorite is scrapbooking. These flowers would look great on a scrapbook page. Thanks for the chance.
