Hot or Cold??

Happy Wednesday, y'all!! Hope everyone is having a good day so far! I am getting errands, etc done today as my hubby is haivng Laser PRK (similar to Lasik) surgery tomorrow and will need lots of TLC through next week. It will be hard to keep him down and resting since he is a workaholic! LOL! Hopefully I will get lots of Maggies colored while taking care of him.

7 Kids College Fund has a new challenge on the Challenge Blog today.
This week's theme is:

I was a little tired of the cold, so decided to do a summery card.
I am envious of Pirate Tilda because she is standing by the ocean and it makes me miss fishing....I have not really done and fishing since a brief drop in a lake last summer. I am itching to do some rod bending in the ocean. I am planning on doing some fishing later this year when the hubby and I go to Hawaii! I can't wait. Ok, back to reality....
I used the Tilda with Jolly Roger and Sea Background stamps from Magnolia for my card. The DP is from the Basic Grey Olivia stack and the cardstock and ribbon is SU. The sentiment is from Amy R's Birthday stamp set (All That Scraps). I colored both images with Copics and added lots of aqua Stickles to the waves. The bow was made using my Bow-Easy (great product!) All of the edges were distressed using a distressing tool. Not sure where I got the charm, but Tab has some in her store here.

Here is a close-up of this swashbuckling cutie!
I used the following Copics to color:
Skin: E11, E00, E000, R30
Hair: E57, 55, 53, 50
Clothes: R22, 21, 20, 0000, C7, 5, 3, 1, 00
Flag & Sea Background: E37, 35, 33, 31, 30, BG13, 11, 10, 0000, E43, 42, 41, 40

I will be back later with another post!

Supplies:
Stamps - Tilda with Jolly Roger, Sea Background (both Magnolia stamps), Sentiment (ATS)
Paper - Olivia DP (Basic Grey), SU cardstock
Ink - Memento, Copics
Accessories - Stickles, Bow Easy, Charm, Distressor Tool, Ribbon (SU), Word Window Punch (SU)
