Aloha, y'all! Sorry I have not been around lately. My in-laws are in town and we just got back from a few days at Disney World and then the beach. We went to see Ice Age 3 today - so cute. We really enjoyed it.
I ordered some new Riley's before the contest ended, but they did not quite get here in time, but I still could not wait to use them. This is Hula Sophie. She is adorable in her grass skirt!
I have a new {favorite} copic color combo for coloring Riley & Sophie - E30, E35 and E37! It gives them a nice little tan! The sentiment is from Eclectic Paperie's Hangin' with Kona - they work perfect with the 'beachy' Riley stamps. I am trying to use up SU DP that is retiring - I used Hawaii Papaya DP along with Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss and Gina K. 80# PL cardstock. I also used Tangerine ribbon, linen thread, EK Success wavy border punch, nesties, buttons and primas. The background was created with my Copic Airbrush system.

Here is my 2nd post for today using Surfer Riley.
I got this color scheme from a pair of patchwork surfer style shorts my son has from Gymboree. They are from last year's line, so I do not have a picture. I used Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze and Blue Bayou. The sentiment is another one from the eP Kona set. For texture, I used 4 different CB embossing folders. Riley was colored, cut out and then popped-up on top of the background, which was created using my airbrush system and a mask. I added some stickles to the wave and some Olive twill to the tag. Here is my 2nd post for today using Surfer Riley.
