Back from the dead....Me, not Riley

Sorry for not posting lately, I wish I were laying on the couch eating bon-bons all week like my friend, Riley, seen here but instead, I had fever, chills, a stuffy head, sore throat and killer headache - otherwise known as the flu!! ..oh yeah, and a cute little 3.5 yr old boy at my side during the day -

Okay, Okay, enough about me and onto the card!

These Riley stamps are so much fun to color.

Excuse my attempt at sewing on a card, I am still trying to get the hang of it. This sketch came from Leigh O'brien's blog - the link can be found my Be My Valentine post.

Valentine - Double Challenge!

Happy Thursday!! The kids are off school tomorrow, so I am gettin' my scrap on tonight!! :)

This little Valentine cutie was made for two SCS challenges!!

This is another one of the Gingersnaps Angels Digi set. As you are probably aware, I love these girls! I used my new Martha Stewart heart border punch tonight. The little hearts on the sentiment were the leftovers from the border punch - I thought they were a cute addition! I stickled her wings and halo.

Be My Sweetheart

Happy Martin Luther King Day to all!! My kids are off school today and we are going to the movies, so I will make this quick! Here is another card using these awesome Gingersnaps Hey Cupid Digi Download! She's a cutie, eh?

I found this awesome sketch on Leigh O'Brien's blog and just had to CASE it! :) I colored this little 'angel' using my copics and cut her out with my oval nesties and then stickled her wings. Again, I used my new Martha Stewart heart punch and 'adhered' the heart with a new Making Memories Head Pin from the Chloe's Closet line.

Sorry it has been a few days since I posted. I am having some problems with my neck and it has been causing me headaches. I have not felt very 'scrappy' in the past few days. Just Call Him "Timmy"

Okay, so I managed to stay true to my word - no pink, no green!! I promise it has nothing to do with the Gators win over OU last night...neither does the blue and orange color scheme....LOL!!

This cutie robot from the Stampendous Love Robotz set! I picked him up last weekend on my shopping trip to LSS. I made this card for my neighbors little boy. He is having his 4th b.day party tomorrow and my boys are going to make s'mores along with the other kids! What a cute party idea! I stamped him on Whisper White and colored him using my PrismaColor pencils and Gamsol - a technique I am pretty new at, but I do like the look.

Lily the Fairy

Happy Friday! This is my submission for the Pink Cat Studio contest. For more info on the contest, click HERE. Isn't this Lily the Fairy so adorable? I will have to save this for some little princess' birthday!! What little girl wouldn't want that for a birthday card? I have just the little princess in mind - my friend Diane's little girl, Emma, who will be 5 in April - i will just tuck it away for her b.day!

Well, it's a chilly 57 degrees here in N. FL (I know that is HOT compared to some places, but it's chilly for us!!) So after running a few errands, I came home and colored this little fairy with my copics and added some stickles (fairy dust) to her wings so she could fly! Anyhoo, on to the supplies...

My Valentine!

Here is another CC Designs Snowbunny post! I really like these digi downloads - can ya tell? LOL!

The kids finally went back to school today and I am glad to just have some me time! Yay! It was a good break, but it was time to get back to a schedule!

This was made for SC209 on SCS. I really like this sketch, so you may see it more often. I colored this snowbunny using the following Copics: E00 Skin White, E51 Milky White, YG00 Mimosa Yellow, YG95 Pale Olive, G99 Olive, RV000 Pale Purple, R46 Strong Red, R20 Blush, BG10 Cool Shadow, Y21 Buttercup Yellow, and Y26 Mustard. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Sultry 6x6 stack - love these colors!

I 'Knead' You!

Here is one of the new Fluffles stamps I picked up at my LSS yesterday!! I got lots of fun new stuff!! I tried several new things with this card. 2009 is all about new things, so I am trying to branch out. New things on this card: 1. Sewing (don't laugh, my first try using paper - well 2nd, I think I did it once on a scrapbook page), 2. Fun Flock - this stuff is so fun! just got some yesterday. I used it on the heart Fluffles is 'kneading'!! 3. Not new, but way retro for me actually - using eyelets - it has been eons since I have used these things! :) I sponged Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery on the background. Finished card size is 4.25 x 4.25.

Lots of Love

This is my first Valentines post. I loved the Christmas posts, but it is refreshing to see some fun spring-y colors! :) This was made for SC208.

This bon-bon eating Riley is so cute! Maybe some bon-bons would make my headache go away...worth a try, right?
