PCS Digi Release Thursday Nov 12th

Happy Thursday to ya! Ahhh....I can almost feel the weekend! Today is supposed to only get to 63 degrees, so it will be a little chillier than it has been. Yay, that's what my new fall clothes are for!

It's Pink Cat Studio's Digi Release Thursday again!! Check out what Melissa came up with this week!

She also decided to release the Christmas Kitty set as digi's too! They are available for sale here now!

My first card uses the PenguinsMistletoe image. These two are so sweet! I made a 4.25" square card for this one using more Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses DP along with some Old Olive and Riding Hood Red. I am so glad I bought about 4 packs of RHR cardstock before it was discontinued - it is one of my favorite reds, ever! I added some zig-zag stitching around the edges of the DP. For the sentiment, I punched some fern leaves (Martha Stewart punch) and used a big red button and some crocheted thread for a bow. I used one of my new Tag Trio Nesties and a PTI sentiment as well. Here is a close-up of the image. I colored it with copics and then added lots of bling and texture. I used BG10 to color the background sky and then used my colorless blender to make falling snow. I used a Copic multiliner to draw in the ground and then I covered the ground with Martha Stewart Snow Glitter. For the Mrs. Penguin, I added Stickles to her fur trim and to Mr. Penguin, I added some Fun Flock to his fur trim and puff on his hat. There is also some stickles on the fern punches.

For my 2nd card, I wanted to do something a little more simple and sleek.
I used some of my leftover MME Christmas DP from last year along with some Blue Bayou and Cream coordinating Bazzill. I adhered the polka-dot paper to the card using some brown zig-zag stitching. The sentiment is from PTI's Holiday Wishes set. I punched some snowflakes using a Marvy punch and added some stickles to them and a dew drop to the center. I sponged a little cream-colored chalk ink from versa-mark around the edges of the image and the sentiment.
Here is a close-up of this cute snowman. He just screamed vintage to me, so that is why I chose the browns and blues. Isn't he so sweet with his birdie friends?

Okay, here is my third card for this week's release. This is the new Santa image. He is so cute and vintage too!
I used some Deja Views cardstock that I have had for a while along with some Bashful Blue cardstock. The sentiment is from PTI's Signature Christmas set. The snowflake accent is made from a Spellbinder Nestie snowflake set. I cut out each one and then airbrushed them while still in the die. I added a blingy brad to the center.
Here is a close-up of Santa and his birdie friend. I sure hope he comes down my chimney and brings me something good this year - how about the new Tony Hawk Ride game for the Wii? Oops....I have to confess, I LOVE to play video games! It's one of the reasons I had kids - so I could play and not seem like a dork! Just kidding - it's just one of the benefits of having kids - we love to play together!

These will be up in my Etsy Store in the next few days.
Have a great day! Ciao, for now! ~Tori
